Conservation Committee Meetings
Seattle Audubon's Conservation Committee evaluates, discusses, and acts upon a variety of conservation issues that affect birds and bird habitat. This includes educating and encouraging the public and producers to make purchasing choices that protect habitat and conserve resources for birds, other wildlife and people. The Conservation Committee provides the "people power" to implement change via the two Campaigns currently directed by the Committee (the NW Shade Coffee Campaign and the Forest Friendly Lumber Campaign).
Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday night of each month and are a great opportunity to learn more about the two Campaigns and Seattle Audubon's other Conservation iniatives. Join us in creating, planning, strategizing and acting.
